Born from the rough design for an odd, innovative, off-the-ground tent, family-owned Kamp-Rite has been at it since 1999.

As a family heavily into outdoor activities, we spent the first two years testing and refining the design of what would eventually become "The Original Tent Cot".

At first, we marketed our "Original" Tent Cot to casual campers. But we soon discovered that our unique product was popular with a wide range of groups that included fire fighters, EMTs, rafting guides, hunters, fisherman, surfers, off-roaders, humanitarian organizations and a variety of civil deployments world-wide. And as we were to find out, that was just for starters!

Along the way, we added several items to our line of Kamp-Rite products, including "The Oversize" Tent Cot, "The Double" Tent Cot and the "IPS". And as we continue to fine-tune each product on the valued comments of our customers, we also strive to expand the uniqueness of our product line, doing our best to deliver the experience of camping comfort to the entire world!

Now, Kamp-Rite Tent Cots are found on every continent, in every conceivable venue. And though we're sometimes mimicked, the Kamp-Rite Tent Cot has never been bettered! So remember, if it doesn't say "The Original" on the label, it probably isn't!
