Not while you are in it. If you are concerned about it while you are away from camp, simply fold it up where it stands and it will not go anywhere.

Yes you can. All of Kamp-Rite's aluminium framed Tent Cots come standard with a 10mm foam pad inserted between the tent and the cot. However, if you require added comfort, a self-inflating sleeping pad can be added easily and usually can be left inside the Tent Cot when folded for storage.

"The Original" Tent Cot will support up to 135kgs. Our "Oversize" Tent Cot is built with our larger framed customers in mind and will support up to 165kgs. And our two person Tent Cot, "The Double", will support up to 250kgs.

Very easy! Every Tent Cot comes ready-to-use, right out of the box and takes no more than a minute or two to set-up. Once you've done it a couple of times, they're even faster to take down. And, except for the 2 poles used for the dome-topped versions, there's no assembly or disassembly required!

Quite easily. With the flick of your thumb, you release the 6 clips that hold the tent portion upright, give some slack to the support straps underneath the cot and you're there!

Some will, some won't. It all depends on how well your bag compresses. Thinner "down" bags work really well, while some poly-fill bags might be too thick. It's definitely worth researching.

Without the rainfly, you won't be bothered by a quick shower or two. But add the seal-taped rainlfy (included with all Tent Cots sold outside the USA), and you're ready for almost anything nature has in store.

Well, hopefully nothing keeps the two of you from each other! But where a good night's sleep is concerned, "The Double" comes with a padded center bar that separates each sleep area to assure a restful night, without the worry of rolling into one another.

Like any tent, your Tent Cot should be dry and dirt-free before storing it for it's next use. As for cleaning, a soft cloth with a light soap & water mixture will do fine.

We don't currently offer adaptations to mount Tent Cots to roof racks, but we have heard rumor that a few of our "off-roading" friends in Africa and Australia have done just that. *We don't currently recommend mounting your Tent Cot to a vehicle roof, but if you camp amongst lions and elephants, we suppose it's okay...

At least where Australia is concerned, not anytime soon. Our retailers play such an important role in our growth, we'd be crazy to do wrong by them!
